who
The Toronto Psychogeography Society is a loose collection
of relentless flâneurs, explorers and walkers. The word psychogeography
was coined by the Situationist Guy Debord. It describes the specific
effects of the geographical environment on the emotions and behaviour
of individuals. The streets of Toronto become a playground, and each
route presents a new urban adventure as participants step out of their
daily routine and explore the city's overlooked corners to imagine the
dynamics of a better future urban environment.
